I THINK I'M CURSED!!! LOL!

Hi, everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well!

I'm so thankful the severe weather passed us over the other evening, but I feel so much for those poor people who were affected by the tornado hitting in Joplin, MA.  They are in my thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure in yours  too!  So many tragedies!

Seems I'm not having the best luck either since I've been back -- but at least I can deal with mine.  I did pick up additional blank screens yesterday and they got ruined  today the same way as the previous ones were.  Called PC back and they're sending me new screens and more inks... we'll see what happens when I get the new inks and screens.  They said it must be a bad batch of ink since I've tried and gotten the same results on so many new screens.  I certainly hope the ink really is the problem.

Anyway, I was all excited about getting started doing some crafting with the new cart I got in the mail:

Well..., you won't see a project today as I'd thought from my using this either because it's got to fi back in the mail to PC!!!  Why?  Because apparently the colors on the cart weren't programmed correctly and no matter which color I'd select everything came out in these 3 colors only:

According to PC, this does occassionally happen with new cartridges...

And to top that off I'm still having Google issues!  Ya think I was just too overexcited to get back and get started on my crafting that something just had to knock me down a few notches?!!!  LOL!  Or, maybe I really am cursed... lol!  It's becoming tooo funny to me to let it frustrate or annoy me at this point.  When I think of all the other things going on -- like in Joplin -- it puts it into perspective just how much worse for me things could be!
Still I'm quite disappointed!  After waiting months to get this cartridge for this to happen is like adding insult to injury...lol!  I'm not giving up though, I'm going to do some crafting even if it's just making more cards -- which I'm really not that good at doing at all!!!  I was really looking forward to having a beautiful card today to share because the images on Teresa's Collins' cart are just beautiful!!!  Call me a glutton for punishment but I won't let none of this get me down!!!  I'm crafting something!!!  LOL!!!

Well,  I'm heading back to the drawing board!  LOL!!!  Oh, and I'll be back around to visit again as soon as Google figures out whatever the problem is I'm still having leaving comments!

Overall, wanted to drop in and say "hi"; let you know I was thinking about you since I can't let you know on your blogs.

Hugs, and I'll be seeing you!

WOw lady, when it rains at your house it pours don't it,lol. But you right don't give up,just do something..i was just playing around with a cart i got Life is a Party, just cutting some stuff not for any purpose but just to be doing something. Will be posting pictures of what i cut in a bit.

I am an avid weather channel watcher..had it on since about 5 tonight, man oh man the tornado's are still going strong, one they followed for nearly an hour and it was still on the ground. And was others behind it..i pray that ppl take these things serious and when they say get in your safe place ppl do it..so many lives lost in Joplin, the worse in the history of them keeping records.

Oh Audrey, I would be SCREAMING MAD!!! I have had days like this. I have been fortunate that they weren't provocraft issues, but I have had those days. One morning, I was so excited to get started on an entire day of crafting. First, my computer wouldn't get started and I had things to print for my first project. I dealt with that for about an hour. Then I unwrapped a brand new SU ink pad and was going to ink a couple of cuts. When I went to pop the top open and flip it, the phone rang, made me jump and YEP! I had inked my glasses and the side of my face! Later, I was using the embossing gun and permanently warped a new self healing mat (didn't know it was so sensitive to heat). Then, I had four cards almost done and was adding little bows to each one. I opened my scrappy glue to stick them down. The tip was clogged. I used a pin, and nothing would come out. I used a pin again and I could see a little tiny tip of hardened glue in the very tip. I couldn't pull it free, so I squeezed the bottle a little harder... YEP! The side split out of the bottle and the glue basically exploded all over my almost completely finished cards and ruined them all. I lost the entire day! So... I have been there and I can tell by your post that you are in a much better mood than I was that day. Hee! Hee!

Talk about getting kicked when you are already down!!! Hang in there Audrey! I taught a scrapbooking class at Michaels last night and left my Gypsy at the store. Of course my morning helper is sick and I can't even rescue my Gypsy until afternoon. Man I feel naked. Funny how I have so many ideas now that I can't do anything!!!

Aww sweetie,
You certainly are not having a good week are you? I was so hoping that thinning out the ink would solve your problem, but happy to hear that PC is sending you more supplies.
Another UGH with your cartridge. I would problaby have to refrain from throwing it out the window. Hope you get your replacment soon

Oh no Audrey! That sucks! :(

I, too, almost bought the cartridge and have been debating over it- but now that you had to return yours because of the color situation- it's actually making me really nervous to get it... and really more towards- not getting it at all! (Thanks, you help me to save money! ;))..

lol! But is this only with that particular cartridge or ever ONE of them are like that?

Hi Audrey! Sorry for your frustrations lately. I've been having that blogger problem too. It is not with all blogs though so I don't know what the specific issue is! Anyway, Jean posted that unchecking the "remember me" box where you sign in might help so I tried and it worked on Beebeebabs' gallery. I'm crossing my fingers it works across the board! HUGS!

Audrey, if you haven't figured out how t leave a comment yet someone told me to do the following and it worked for me. When you go to leave a comment and it asks for your userid and password, uncheck the "stay signed in" box and that should do the trick.

Glad to have you back!

Hey Kiddo! When it rains it pours doesn't it. The things you describe simply drive me insane. And when they come in groups like this, I want to hit my head up against the wall! I too am heartbroken for those poor folks in Joplin. I can't imagine having to start over with nothing left. Just breaks my heart. Hope you are OK. I'm going to have a look a round at your last few posts to see what I've missed. So sorry to be absent for so long. Best, Curt
