I find myself continuously apologizing because I'm still trying to maintain 2 households (and there's no internet at my aunt's), and it makes it really difficult to be here when or as often as I want to be; and/or to drop in for visits as often. So, especially to my new followers, please give me time to get to you. If I can find you, I promise to get to you. I know my current family-friends understand things have been very unsettling for me for the past several weeks, and I appreciate the concern and kind comments. However, hopefully, things are looking like they're taking a turn for the better! I'm praying so too because I'm desperately missing my regular routine crafting!!!
Wow, I'm so glad everyone loved the soap recipe, however, please bear in mind that different soaps produce different results. This is a basic recipe and there are no mistakes -- there's always an adjustment/fix; for instance, if you make the soap too thin -- add 1/4 tsp. salt to each 8 oz. to thicken it; if it doesn't suds enough, add more glycerin (or try baby shampoo because it's mild). Just play with it, add colorants, herbs, etc. -- make it yours! Of course if you have any questions, just leave me a comment or email, I'll get right back to you.
