Wedding Gift Box and Card

Hello, everyone!!!  Hope all's well in blogland!

Yesterday was Leonard's birthday and he loved the box!!!  I put a tie with a matching hankie in it and he loved that too!  We were suppose to go out for dinner but ended up ordering out because the weather here is pretty nasty.  We had a comfy and delicious meal, finally watched some movies we were given but hadn't yet had time for, and just had a very pleasant and relaxing time together.

Okay, I've spent waaaay too much time fiddling with that darn ecraft machine!  I think I may like it if I can ever get the pressure right so as not to rip my paper.  I've gotten some really good cuts and some really bad ones; however, to keep from getting frustrated, I -- off and on -- worked on this little project.  I used one of the new Marianne Design Anja dies I received for Christmas to do this box and card project.  I really didn't have a design in mind when I started (still trying to get my mojo back), but this came together really quick and was so much fun:

Oops, didn't realize adding that frame would make it more difficult to see the project, huh?  Here's the picture itself; hope this is better:

Here is a closeup of the die cut:

I used lots of bling around the edges, pearl paint, and silk flowers on it; I rubbed the embossed die roses inset with silver-grey Lustre Rub-on and bit of  silver Stickles.  I can't wait to play with this die again!  And because it's a wedding box and card, I'm going to enter it into the http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com wedding themed challenge I noticed while visiting with my friend Rhonda at Scrap Happens.

Before I leave you, during our belated family holiday celebration, Buster got a Christmas hat and collar as a present (yes, he gets presents too and lots of em...lol); anyway, being the little show-off that he is he wanted me to post a picture of him wearing them for you...lol:

Well, I'm off to playing again -- got more stuff to explore!

Hugs, love ya, and I'll be seeing you!

ANYBODY THERE...? FINALLY I'M HERE!

Hello, family.  I hope all's been well in blogland!  I know it's been a while but I've been through quite an ordeal the last few months.  I'm praying for things to remain quiet -- at least for a awhile -- so that I can immediately relax back to my crafting, blogging, and you!!!  I've missed so much and can't wait to see what you've been up to, and what I have to catch up on.  I guess I'm waaay out of the loop now... lol!  I know life has many twists and turns but I'm so grateful to be able to breathe for a minute ... hopefully longer!  I'm just so glad to be here!!!

My aunt is doing okay and Leonard is doing well; his therapy ended several weeks ago and he's back to being out and about. I've thought of you often, prayed for you, hoped you had a wonderful holiday season, and that all's been well in blogland.  With family situations taking a "right" turn we were finally able to to prepare for today when most of our family finally got a chance for a small get-together to celebrate the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays we missed sharing in 2012; otherwise I would have been here a bit sooner.  We ate well, laughed much, enjoyed being able to finally come together in good spirit, and exchanged gifts that had sat unopened for weeks.  But, most importantly, we were able to put aside all the sadness and grief we've endured so we could enjoy each other and be thankful for all the blessings we have received! Although we were late in coming together, it was so much better and meant even more.  Hopefully we can now all move on to many more brighter and better times.

With our celebration ending, I've rushed here (to my extended family) because I didn't want to waste any more time in dropping in to give you a very hardy hello, let you know I've sincerely missed you, and that I'll be dropping in on you shortly ... telling you this so I won't shock you when you see me... lol.  Now that it looks like I may have some time, I'm getting started crafting tonight!!!  So..., I'll have something to post soon too!  Hubby says I've been like an Eveready battery, moving almost non-stop and that I should be still a couple of days to rest... lol... he still just doesn't realize crafting is my rest for this tired ole  body!!!

I only recently had a chance to sit down to read through comments and emails, and was pleased (and appreciative) to see the extended prayers and well wishes from many of you eventhough I was unable to communicate back.  Thank you for being there for me, your prayers were heard and answered.

So, I'm off to play a bit but expect to see me!  Again, thank you so much for your kindness and patience during what was an extremely difficult time.  My family sends "thanks" too.

Now I won't take up anymore of your crafting time; besides my Christmas presents included some craft toys I can't wait to finally get my hands on.  Thank you for stopping by, love you, sincerely hope I'm here for awhile with no more intrusive "events", and I'm so glad you're all a part of my life.  I'll be seeing you...

A CHRISTMAS PROJECT AND SOME NEWS!

Hello, everyone!!!  Wow, it seems like forever since I've been around!!!  LOL!  I hope you're all well.

I've been really busy, among other things, preparing 3 projects for this weekend.  On Friday I'll be presenting my monthly DT project over at Pam's; on Saturday I'm guest designer for Sheila's weekly challenge and I'm also participating in Jean's and Tina's "Gobble Til You Wobble" blog hop.  So I'll have two (2) project posts on Saturday.  I do hope you'll all come around to see all 3 projects I'll be presenting to you, and that you'll have some fun in the challenge and hop!!!  There'll be prizes at both!!!  All the details will be available on each individual/specific post!  Now that I have all these projects ready -- and one for today -- I can take some time to focus on visiting with you a bit later because Ive really missed you the last few days.

A bit of good news is my scan-test result showed I have an undeveloped "something" in my kidney that never developed from childhood which is causing the blood in my urine, so now I'm being referred to a urologist to find out what can be done about it-- sorry, if it sounds gross; however, it's better than being told it was cancer which, thank God, I wasn't!  So that's good news!  Isn't it funny how things always seem to catch up with you so unexpectantly?!!!  Totally caught me off-guard that I was "undeveloped"!!!  LOL!

Now on to my project for today.  With Christmas almost upon us, I decided I better get started!  I'm one of those last minute folks that never finishes getting everything done... lol!!!   What I have is a  matching card and gift box:

Here's a picture of the inside of the card:

The paper I used is Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium; I don't think you can go wrong with anything made by Graphic 45... lol!  And although you may not be able to see it,  I also used lots of stickles!!!  (Maybe if you click to enlarge it.)  Other than serious needing to get out and purchase a new paper cutter, I love how this set turned out with all the bling!!!

Anyway, normally this time of year (if you remember last year), I'd be knee-deep into making soaps and toiletries to sell to several once-a-year only customers.  As I've had to decline this year due to timing issues (and a possible vacation), I hope to have a few more holiday projects to share with you prior to this year-end than last.  And with the holiday seasons upon us and out-of-town family visiting, I'm hoping my aunt will be plenty occupied to allow me a little more "breathing" room... lol!!!

Well, I'm off to finish up some chores but I'll be back to begin my visits with you in a little while!!!

Hugs, thanks so much for taking time to stop by, and...

I'll be seeing you!

SOMETHING TO SHARE BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD!!!

Hello, everyone!  Well, the hubby and I will be heading out to Atlanta later this afternoon!  Thanks for all the well wishes and safe travel comments!  I'm so sorry I won't get a chance to visit with you before I leave, there just wasn't enough time, but I will drop in on everyone just as soon as I get back.

In the meantime, are you wondering what I'm doing up this early in the morning?  Well, I still have to complete a DT project or Sheila's blog on Thursday; and, unfortunately, another very dear and close friend of my husband passed over the Independence holiday.  The loss of four (4) friends this year is really taking a toll on Leonard, so of course when he asked if I could find time to squeeze in a quick card, I couldn't say "no".  So here I am after 2 am with his card done and a DT project to go!  Because I haven't had time to do anything else to share with you over the last few days, I'm going to share the card.  I love making these particular cards but, as I have to be up, I wish this card could have been  more fun to do -- other than for such a sad circumstance.  But these cards do seem so appropriate -- don't you think so too?  Oh well, I'll have fun with my DT project, although it'll be short but (hopefully) sweet!  I'm getting tired...lol!

I've shared these cards with you before, so I hope you're not weary of seeing them.  I try not to be too repetitious.  Here's the card:

Here's a picture with the card's box and the envelope for the card-stand:

Gotta go finish up my DT project now as I've got to get it posted  before we leave to post on Thursday, and I've got to try to get a bit of rest -- still got one more errand to run before we leave.  So, I hope you'll all be happy while I'm gone.  I'll be thinking of you, and I can't wait to see all you're wonderful projects when I get back!!!  Hopefully, by then, I'll have pictures from both family reunion's to share with you too!

If you can, please stop by, or by Sheila's, on Thursday to see what I've prepared for my DT project!!!

Thanks always for stopping by!!!  You're the best blog-family in blogland and I appreciate you all!!!

Hugs!

HELLO AND HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Hi everyone!!!  Hope you've all enjoyed a wonderful weekend so far.  The weather here has been great, despite a few showers, and so the hubby wanted me to get out to help him with a few "fun" things here and there.  It's always nice to spend time with him and I even managed to squeeze in a couple of really quick projects just for some added enjoyment.

I'm not certain I like this card much.  I think it's pretty, of course, but it just came out looking too much like one I'd previously done although the design is different.  I did this card on my Imagine, and I used both Lori's Garden and Damask Decor:

I really love both these cartridges and I will probably use them a lot (will change the color on images though).  Here's a shot of the inside:

This next little project uses the same flip lid box I did for my DT project on Thursday, however, I altered the size to fit 3x3 note cards.  This little box will hold 3 cards and envelopes:

I also cut the side panels on an angle which I hadn't done on the larger box:

Here's a peek of the box open:

I cut this box out by hand and haven't made a cut.file for the specific size yet; but, I am going to do a cut.file to have available for anyone preferring this size.  I do, however, want to adjust the size to hold at least 4 cards and envies comfortably though.  I'll let you know when it's complete and ready for download.  As for the images, I cut them all on the Splice and used the Dance and Music Design Card.

By the way, I received my new Yudo screens on Friday but not the ink -- hope PC didn't forget!  And yesterday I received my replacement Teresa Collins' Baby Boutique cart.  I haven't tried this oney et but will later, and I hope to be able to play with it -- yippeee!!!

Well, I'm off again!  Promised a friend I'd stop by for a short visit, so I'll be back later to catch up with you!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be seeing you!

YOU'RE THE BEST!!! AND, YES, A PROJECT!!!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Well, I've still got egg left on my face; but after church yesterday, many prayers, comfort from family and friends, and reading through all your wonderful comments, I feel better.  Besides I love you all and miss you too much to have stayed away much longer.  So here I am.  I'd like to thank you for all your kind comments; you are all wonderful and your words very comforting.  If anyone were to ask me, I'd say I've got the best blogging family than anyone in the entire blogging community!!!  In the world!

I still haven't been up much for crafting, but I did have to do a another birthday present for a relative, so I got up and got busy.  Didn't have a clue what I was going to do and just kept looking through my supplies, and spotted this stuff I bought a while back ago at Michaels:

My cousin loves Betty Boop so I found and transferred this image using the kit:

While in a General Dollar Store some time ago, I purchased several double-mirror compacts.  Didn't know how I was going to use them at the time, but they came in pretty handy for this project:

Before I could transfer the image, I had to remove the printed or painted  imprinted product name.  I tried several things but I found nail polish remover (the acetone kind) did the job perfectly.

I transferred the image to the compact following the suppliers directions, made a matching box for the compact and a matching card -- now I have a birthday set for my cousin.  Before I let you see it, if you decide to use any kind of transfers, test print first to make determine whether you need to lighten your image before printingit as the print here came out very dark (I didn't do a test print).  Here's the set:

My cousin's name is on the compact across Betty Boop's forehead in red but, as it does shows okay on the compact, it didn't show up well on the photo (neither does her other eye...lol!!!).  You might be able to see it if you click to enlarge it, but I don't know for sure.

Of course, for me, it wouldn't mean a thing if it didn't have that bling, so I added my Stickles and rhinestones.  And, she'll love it because it's Betty Boop and her name is on it!

So, this has at least got me off to a start, and it felt good doing it.  It's something, at least.  As for now, I've got an errand I'm off to.  When I get back I'm going to see if I can figure out another project to share -- maybe I'll be able to finish one I'd already started.

I'll be seeing you beautiful people, and thank you so much for being my family!!!  Love you all!

A MATCH BOX STYLE GIFT BOX AND TRANSPARENCY CARD SET!

Hello, again!!!  I'm back with another project to share!

This is a gift I made that I'm going to be giving to a cousin for her birthday next month, so I'm hoping she doesn't select now as the time to come peruse my blog, lol!!!  She's never bothered to come have a peek here before but it'd be just my luck!!!  She has uncanny timing!

I really like how this came out.  You can probably get a better view by clicking on each of the images.

The card reads "Each Day Holds The Possibility of Miracles".  She's been through a lot in the last several years and so this sentiment suits her perfectly.

Here are a few close-ups:

Of course, these are more paper flowers I enjoyed making, and I used one of my UTEE cameos; I don't know what company made the metal words "Cherish" and "Love", I have a bunch of them that are loose in a compartment in a large bin.  The beads are from an old strand of pearls.

I'm very happy with this quick gift; I  think it's quite pretty!

Hope you like it!!!

P.S.  Just so you know, I have some errands to run with my Aunt tomorrow, so if I post and/or get around to visiting, it'll be later in the evening!!!   Happy Crafting!!!

A CUTE VALENTINE GIFT SET!

Happy Monday, family!!!

I FINALLY got out of the house today!!!  It felt wonderful!!!  I was actually beginning to feel like a prisoner in my own home!!!  Yes, I'm feeling so much better; unfortunately, the hubby is going through a bad time right now.  Being that he is, I will be going tomorrow to my BFF's home to play with making melt and pour soap (instead of her waiting to come here).  She wants me to show her how to make a batch of soap from scratch-- after the holiday, I'm not sure I'm up to it but I guess if she's going to show me how she makes melt and pour soap, I'll have to show her how to make soap.  I should come home with soap bars already made tomorrow while she'll have to wait until her batch becomes solid and then she'll have to cut them into bars!  I don't think she really knows what she's getting into but I'm going to show her!  We should have fun though!

Well, I actually did manage to get a project completed for today.  It was really simple in that the gable  box is actually on the Spring Holiday Cards cart -- all I did was cut it out at 3", decorate it and made a matching card:

This is the tall version of the box, there is also a wide version on the cart.

The res hearts on the card and box reads, "Valentine, you are special"; however, the wording got a bit blurred under 3 coats of Glossy Accents.  The sweet little bunny I found on the internet.

I entered this project in the "Keys to My Heart" challenge at http://opus-gluei.blogspot.com/

Well, that's all for now...

I'll be seeing you!

"SUCH SWEET HEARTS" CARD AND BOX SET

HELLLLLOO!!!  How I've missed you so the last few days!!!  I didn't want to stay away but my head and stomach dictated I had to if I wanted to get better sooner!  Fortunately (between the chicken soup, Theraflu, Father John's, and Coricidan's) I feel much better, although I think the hubby is just now getting into the worse of his.  I'm being as careful as I can that he doesn't pass it back, I definitely don't want this again!

I just hate thinking he caught his "bug" from me, and I'm so sorry, because he really is such a big baby when he's sick, heee-heee!

I'd like to thank you all for all your get-well wishes.  I so appreciate you all taking the time to think of me and comment.  I wish all of you who were also feeling equally as terrible as I was are on the mend too!

The only good thing I can say about how I've felt this past week or so is that I've lost 6 pounds!!!  LOL!!!  Well, now that my belly is about back to normal that won't last long!  LOL!!!

More good news, for the recipients of my pendants and the anniversary candy, they'll be in the mail tomorrow.  My son is going to come pick them up and take them to the Post Office for me.  Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to get OUT OF THIS HOUSE, I think I should let feeling better settle in a bit more; particularly since we have a wind chill factor of  about 20 below zero!  Ouch!

Disappointing news is one of my friends was going to come over today to show me how to work with melt and pour soaps.  I love soapmaking, however, I'm not good with what's supposed to be the "easy" stuff.  Anyway, she's great with it, but being my hubby is probably still infected I didn't think it would be a good idea for her to come.  I so miss any company but it's something I'm looking forward to when my house is bug-free.  And, hopefully it'll give me something else to share with you once I get this "easy" stuff down pat; considering it goes well for me!

Enough said (see what happens when you don't communicate with people for several days, you talk too much).  Let's move on to a little project I made this afternoon.  It's a card and candy box set:

I hope you like it!!!  I'll be back...

I'll be seeing you!

TEDDY, TEDDY!!! BOX AND CARD!

Hello, everyone.  I certainly hope everyone's doing better than I am.  I apologize for not getting around to visiting as much I would have liked to, however, this cold is getting worse; of course, that means I'm feeling worse.  I've slept off and on today, probably due to the codein in my cold medication, but I have also off and on worked on this little project I want to share.

This is a little teddy bear box with a matching card:

I've filled this little box with chocolates!  I found the teddy bear on the Heritage cart and had the idea of this box and card set.  And, that cute little heart nose on the box... well, it's a button that I strung a ribbon through to tie in the back to secure the box.  See, I'll show you:

Unfortunately, I still have some work to do on this cut.file because I had to improvise and hand-cut a second arm for the front of my bear box -- there isn't an arm!!!  The cut looks just like the back of this box.  The box did cut out and come together pretty well and was fine after I snipped off some unneeded edges, but it just looked awfully strange without the second arm!!!  Of course, now that I've posted this box, I don't know when I'll finish the cut.file, but if you want to try it "as is"  just let me know and I'll email it to you; you'll just have to do like I did and cut your own second arm.  Otherwise, I'll finish it eventually.

Well, I'm going to try to drop in and do some visiting, although I'll probably end up going back to sleep -- that's where I feel I'm headed right now.  We'll see...

Hugs, and...

I'll be seeing you!

IT'S SO DARN TRANSPARENT!!!

Hello, everyone!!!

Today, I'm presenting this project over at Sheila's.  This is going to be a quick and easy project, basically because I'd totally forgotten about my project and the schedule as I mentioned on my previous post!!!  Phew!  Glad I thought of it in time!!!   Because I only realized this yesterday evening, I had to hurriedly come up with a design and a quick cut.file.  Although I wish this could have been something more detailed, I am still hoping you'll like it -- let's get started!

The focus of this project is the transparent (hence the post title) candy box only, it is my project.  The card and matching envie I did only to compliment the box, give it a good presentation and, hopefully spark your interest and/or inspire.  The box is made from a sheet of 8.50" x 11" clear cardstock (you can also use a transparency sheet).  Here's the set:

Here's a close up of the candy box itself:

The candies in the box are chocolate covered candy sticks and they were the inspiration for this box project.  I found them at a store called Tuesday Mornings that I like to frequent, you may have heard of the store and/or may have one near you.  This is the box of the chocolate covered candy sticks:

Let's begin the box by cutting out the template from the cut.file.  The clear cardstock is size 8.50" by 11":

Here's the cut.file template after it's been cut by the Cricut:

I'm sure you're all familiar with folding a cut.file, so just start folding up the template by using the dart cut-outs along the bottom as a guide to align the folds with the tabs along the top; fold in the side tab and glue your box together however you prefer.   Easy!

Now that the box is put together, fill it with the candy sticks:

All that's left to do now is decorate your box however you like.  On my box I used gold Peel-Offs on each  corner of the box, tied brown sheer ribbon around the box and tied a bow; the label on the front is a sticker that I put white cardstock on the back of and pop-dotted beneath the ribbon bow and, to finish it off, I added a transparent gold colored rhinestone to the bow and  a couple to the label to set off the gold in the label.

The sticker label along with the paper used for the card and envie are all from K&C Company's Jubilee Designer collection.  The template cut.file was done on Cricut Expression using the George cart.

If you're interested in the cut.file it is available at the bottom of this project post.  After tomorrow it will be available on my sidebar under "Cut.files".  You can find it under the name "Stick Candy Box".

Here's the cut.file below, and thank you so much for stopping by and/or joining me over at Sheila's.

A GIFT SET PROJECT TO SHARE

A very happy Tuesday to you all!!!

Tending to my aunt has left me with little time but I am working at both: getting around to visiting with you all and getting in some crafting!!!  It's not so easy to play catch up when you're behind, especially with so many of you to get around to (and most of you are soooo busy creating).  It's going to be slow-going still, at least until I know my aunt is safe and secure; however, my intent is to not forsake any of you, I'll get there and I'll browse to see all I've missed but forgive me if I can't stay around to comment on every project.

I got up today and worked on a project to share with you before I have to leave out.  I hope you l like my gift set.  The gift is a book page marker paper clip:

There's a story behind this set; I found all the scroll designed materials separately, all on separate shopping occasions!  I found the black and white flocked ribbon first, next I found the black and white paper, then the black flocked paper followed by the scroll stamp, and I found the little scroll labels last.  This must be some popular scroll design!!!  Because it's difficult to see the flocking, I've added close-ups, you can click on each image for a better view.

The card:

One of the labels is on the window and the card is stamped on the inside behind the window with the scroll stamp; this card predominantly features the black and white paper with the black flocked paper accenting the top, bottom and embellishment:

The box:

The box predominantly features the black flocked paper with the black and white as a background.  Another label, which I covered with Glossy Accents to give it dimension, is affixed near the bottom of the box.  Can you guess what the bauble is over the ribbon?  It's a flat bottom marble with another label lacquered to the back!

The gift:

The book page marker is a large paper clip with a flocked ribbon bow glued to it.  The accent rhinestone embellishment is an old pin I found in my junk pile.

To complement the rhinestones on the book page marker, I added detail rhinestones to the box and the card.

I really couldn't get a good enough picture to do this project justice and to reflect how pretty it all is -- so you'll just have to believe me when I tell you it came out beautiful!!!  At least it's beautiful to me!  LOL!

That's it for now!  Gotta go!

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your taking the time, and I'll be seeing you!

HELLO!!! SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH YOU!

Hello, my extended family!!!  I hope all is well!

Thank you so much for all your well wishes, they are so very much appreciated.  It feels like I've been away forever, and I've missed you and my crafting tremendously.  I can't begin or imagine how to tell you how difficult and exhausting this week has been, but both myself and my aunt are well.  I brought her home yesterday and she will still have a nurse to come in to provide 24-hour supervision because she's still a bit confused, and because she gets around so well, she is a "flight" risk being anxious to go back to work.  I have some pictures to share with you at the bottom of this post that I took of her getting ready to come home.  She dressed herself and was definitely in hurry to leave.  Although she was upset with me because I forgot her wig and her teeth, she was so happy to "get out" -- lol-- she was a good sport and even posed.

Before I go any further, I so very behind on visiting you and althought I may not get through all the wonderful projects you've  done that I've missed, I will be around to see as much as I can of what you've been up too.  Please excuse me if it takes me some time as I visit so many that it will take me awhile.  I have not forgotten or forsaken any of you!  I'll be there as soon as I can!

Well, I'd told you I came in and worked on several projects the other night to calm myself down but, unfortunately, I was unable to post them the following day.  So, I'd like to share with you now.  The first project is a "Be Thankful" box/card set, the box is filled with after dinner mints:

This next holiday set is a purse-size tissue box with a card set.  The box lid secures with Velcro:

Because of the way the tissues come folded, they dispense from the top of the box instead of in the middle:

I do have a third project; however, you won't be able to see it until Monday, November 22.  That is when I'm being presented as a guest designer at Gaby's.  Gaby is a new friend and asked me to be a guest designer, and I accepted her invitation; so, I hope you will all join me there for the presentation of my project.  I believe you'll like my project, Gaby, and her place too!

Now for the pictures of my aunt.  On this first one she's completing dressing herself:

She refuses any assistance and it's really so cute, although sooooo annyoying at times.  On this next picture she doing her "I'm very happy I'm getting outta here" pose:

Most of the women in my family have long hair -- can you believe in my whole life I've only seen my aunt's real hair maybe 4 times.  She keeps it braided and tied under a wig!!!  Everyone was telling her how pretty her hair was -- meant nothing to her, she wanted her wig and her teeth!!!  LOL!!!

Love you all and I'll be seeing you!

A "GENTLEMEN ONLY" GIFT BOXES AND CARD PROJECT

Hello, all you wonderful people!  I hope, although it's "hump" day, today is coming along fine for you and that you are all well!!!

I have a project today I made especially for several challenges:  the Week 21,  Black & White Anything Goes Challenge and the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge.

This project would be great for Father's Day, a male graduate, or just for a special guy you just look up and admire -- for me that's my hubby!  He inspires most of the gift ideas I have for men:

This set includes two (2) boxes:  the shoe and the hat; and a card.  I inserted a pair of socks into the shoes for this demonstration, but I can think of also a tie, a nice hanky, golf balls, etc.

Here is a close up of the outer card and the inside:

I found the shoe image on the internet and copied it.  The shoe on the front of the card I enlarged to size, cut it out, and added 2 coats of Glossy accents for dimension; then I  pop-dotted it to the card.  The smaller shoes I just inserted them on the front of the card in Microsoft Word.  The shoe on the inside, I used a photo editing program to remove/erase the color from inside the shoe so that I could insert the sentiment; I saved the image and then inserted it onto the inside of the card in Microsoft Word.

Well, I hope you all like this gentlemen's gift trio!!!

I'll be back, so I'll be seeing you!!!

WELL I'M NOT SLEEP; GOTTA DO SOMETHING!!!

A very, very early good morning to you all!  I hope all's well!

Okay, it's almost 4 a.m. and I know I'm not nervous about my doctor's appointment later this morning, but for some reason I've been unable to get to sleep; maybe because I'm too conscious of trying not to swallow and then having a compulsion to swallow!  LOL!  That's when it really hurts!!!  Anyway, I decided since I wasn't sleeping I'd do something I enjoy to help pass the time (and take my mind off of swallowing) -- make a box!!!  So, thinking Christmas and determined to be ready ahead of schedule this year, I made this little box:

Oops!  What happened to my punched edge there to the right?!!!  Didn't notice that earlier!!!  Oh well..., someone is still going to get this for Christmas -- LOL!  I'll just tell them the the little torn scallop is the "naughty", heee-heeee!

Of course once I finished the box I thought I should have something "nice" to wrap up in some pretty Christmas tissue to  go inside the box,  so I made this matching little flower with ribbon and silk flower petals then attached a pin back to it to wrap up and tuck inside -- a quick gift:

I hope it'll really will make a nice gift and appreciated by whoever receives it!

Now that that's done I think I'm going to try giving a few hours of sleep another try!  I'll get back to you all after I get back home!

Hope you're having a great morning -- sleeping or crafting!  LOL!!!
