With all that out of the way, let's get started! Knowing Brenda loves working with various media's and clay being one of them, I made this project specifically in honor of her for her birthday! It's a battery operated candle in a peony clay base with a matching card (the flower on the card is made of paper):

What a wonderful little birthday gift that will make.... especially for keeping in the bedroom... you don't have to worry about falling asleep with a little flame going. You can have all the ambiance and no worry! Love it!

Sometimes I just can't believe how your mind works. Would love to spend a day playing in a craft room with you.
Ok... Little story for you... I saw a really good deal on some of these battery operated tea lights a couple of days ago. I was going to put them in the cart, got a phone call and then had to go to the restroom. Probably TMI, but the point of the story. THEY ARE STILL SITTING THERE! Until I saw your wonderful project, I had completely forgot about them. Oh well... Guess it runs in the family. Hee! Hee! So... tomorrow, when I get off work, I am gonna have to go and see if they still have them. This is a wonderful project! How pretty would that be with poinsettias for Christmas?!?
