GOT ANOTHER ONE COMING!!! A BABY GIRL!!!

Happy day, all!!!  It's a beautiful day, and I hope all my beautiful family-friends are well!!!

As you can tell from my title, my family is expecting another baby!!!  This time a girl!  So I went ahead and did another carriage in preparation.  I thought you might like to see this one too:

Isn't it just fit for a little princess?!!!

Now, just before the baby's birth date, all I have to do is fill it up!!!  This one is smaller than the previous one I did for my nephew but I have another gift item planned to accompany/complement this one, so one won't receive any more/less than the other (lol... my family notices things like that).

Oh, by the way, with respect to the carriage I did for my neice, she did have an almost 8 lb. baby boy on February 9.  He is still in the hospital right now because he has complications swallowing and breathing at the same time; until he can do that they are feeding him intravenously.  Otherwise, he's doing well -- and he's a fatty, so at least they're getting enough food in him!!!  LOL!!!  And, he gets fussy when you ignore him!!!  He loves when you talk to him.  Of course by him still being in the ward all these weeks, the nurses are all getting attached to him.  Hope to post some pics as soon as he gets home!

Well, it's the weekend again, so I'll probably be back and forth with the auntie.  Although there'll be a small celebration with cake and icecream, I really would like to do something very special for her because her birthday is March 15 and she'll be 90 years old!!!  Isn't that something?!!!  Unfortunately my brain has gone dead in coming up with some very special  idea for a 90 year old, so if  you have any suggestions, please....

I think I've gotten around to visiting most of you over the last several days but I know there are still some of you I have yet to get to; I haven't forgotten and I'm doing my best to get to you.

In the meantime, as always, hugs....

I'll be seeing you!

I thought I remembered you saying something about having some great pictures of your Aunt through the years, how about a walk down memory lane? use the pictures from the past even of friends or family that are gone. I know many love to reminisce about their past..lol
This is such a beautiful project and will be a great gift with what ever you put inside.
Have a great weekend

As usual, your carriage is just precious! We have a huge extended family and there are no babies in the works :-( Sorry your little nephew is still in the hospital, but it sounds like he is doing well! Oh my, 90 years old! My mom will be 80 on the 19th and I have not thought about ANYTHING either! Have a great weekend!

You are so sweet, Audrey. You're always doing something nice for someone else. Your pink creation is so precious, and I'm sure the recipient will be thrilled! Hmmm...could you take Auntie skydiving? Ask her if there is anything on her 'bucket list' that she's not been able to do yet - you might be surprised :) Good luck with that! Hugs...happy weekend!

Hi Audrey!!!! Seems like forever since I visited you, lol. I am alive and well in rainy Hawaii! My daughter had some surgery so I am on nurse duty. Love the "princess" bassinet. As usual you cease to amaze me. Stay well. I am here for another week. Can't wait to get back to crafting. Hugs, Mary

So girlie and delicate! I might try and make something similar for my daughter to use with her baby dolls. She adores all things frilly.

Hello my sweet friend. I am loving this carriage too. Hope your nephew gets better soon so he can go home & be with his mom & dad.
It is fantastic that your aunt is turning 90. How about a special tea for two with just you & her. I bet you could also make her an outstanding shadow box. Maybe one with pics of her then & now. Say like when she was 10 & now @ 90???? Don't know, just trying to give you ideas.
Keep us posted as to what u come up with. I am sure it is going to be fabulous.
Take care.
Off to keep catching up!
Hugs,
Sonia

Congrats Audrey! Well aren't you the lucky one to have new babies to hold! I hope your little nephew is doing better now and out of the hospital. I'm sure the nurses are loving him but I'm sure mommy wants him to herself! lol! I just love these little carriages you make. This one is perfect for the little princess that will be joining your family soon! I know what you mean about keeping the goodies equal. I have to do that with my boys all the time. They have to have the exact same amount of Christmas gifts, b-day gifts, etc..

Happy 90th birthday to your Auntie! A project with a look from 1922 would be fun, wouldn't it? I wonder what the big craft craze from that year was? I don't think they had craft stores like we have now so whatever it was it must have been pretty interesting. (Now I'm going to have to google it, curiosity!) I hope your having a great week and that your able to enjoy the beautiful weather my friend!
