IS IT JUST ME?!!!

Hi, again, guys!  Well, woe am I!!!

Here's what I have...

... an old Expression, a brand new Expression and a Gyspy!!!  And I can't cut anything!!!  Each machine works independent of the other but will not cut because Gypsy doesn't recognize either Cricut Expression and stalls whenever I try to cut from DS!!!  I've been back and forth on the phone with Provo Craft  all day!!!  They are now going to send me a new cord.  They said they "think" this will resolve the problem!  Why or why didn't I just wait and let my old Expression just die!!!

As anyone else had this problem?  Is it just me?!!!  LOL!!!

I'm LOL because it's just been one of those days I refuse to let get to me and steal my joy!!!  I can't believe it but I'm not at all upset -- maybe I anticipated this!

Don't you just hate updating anything though?  Does it ever go "smoothly"?  Oh well, I'm sorry but it looks like now I'll be further "delayed".

I'll keep you updated!

Audrey, I agree with you, I hate updating stuff and I always feel like if something is going to go wrong it will happen to me. I am sorry you are having these issues and I hope it gets resolved soon. Sending you hugs.

LOL! You know Audrey, I have the Cricut and I need to use it more so to have all those goodies would be fun --- unless they didn't work cohesively together or whatever...I don't have table room for much...haha...can't wait to see what's next - you always make such great stuff! ;-)

:( Sorry to hear you are having issues! My DS keeps "freezing" up on me and PC can't figure that one out. All my handles just go inactive like my serial number isn't there - I have to shut it down then bring it back up (and we all know how long that takes!). Exactly why I do most of my designing in Sure Cuts A Lot! :) Good luck with your machines, hopefully they will get you cutting again!

I am so sorry you are going through all this. Hang in there I am sure they will get you going in no time at all. Oh if it helps they are real quick at getting cords out! They have had to send me a cord for my Gypsy Woman and it came fast.

Oh, that is such a bummer, Audrey. It's so frustrating when you are trying to do something but have to wait on something else. I hope the cord works for you!

I don't know about it not working - as I do not attach mine to the Computer.... I have DS (it was free when you bout 3 carts a couple years ago - and PC sent me the code) but I never downloaded the SW....

I truly hope the cord is the problem. My sister went through an issue with her laptop - and it turned out to be her power cord. So fingers and wires crossed for you that this works!

Wow, Audrey, that's really yucko!!

Even tho Gina came into my life, I've never cut w/ her, so have noooo idea whether she'll "hit it off" w/ the Cricut or not. I guess I should check that out, eh? lol

Hope you're up and running real soon!! :-)

I don't like doing the updates and that is why my gypsy hasn't been updated since Nov last yr. I do hope the cord is the answer. If not I hope PC will have the fix for you.

Wish I could help you out on this one, Audrey! Actually my DS stalled on me yesterday but worked fine after I opened and closed my cut file. I will have to check back and see if that cord fixd ya! Thanks for coming by my blog so faithfully. Love your Christmas cards .. so elegant!
