Good evening, friends. Hope all's well!
Wow!!! Now I think I know why I was having Google issues yesterday!!! I just noticed all the new updated blog changes -- they've even added video!!! I'll have to check out what else is new, but first I want to share with you.
Anyway, I have question for you -- while I was unable to craft due to my hand, do you remember I mentioned to you all how I'd been getting in some blog-hopping, and had gotten several inspirations and ideas from some of the blogs I visited? Do you also remember my mentioning my hubby telling me to write those sites down so I'd remember them? Well, of course I didn't!!! Now, I can't remember where I went and/or what I saw, and all the ideas I had seem to have gotten lost in my head somewhere. Anyway, that's what brought me to this little project I want to share with you today. I am so frustrated with this continuously happening to me that I decided to do something about it. What? Well, I'm going to tell you.
I made this little journal I'm calling "A Site To Remember" (got that -- "Site"? Catchy, huh?), and I'm putting it next to my computer so that everytime I visit a site or have an inspiring idea I can write it down. Of course, I wanted it to be a little fancy for my desk. Here it is,and this is the cover of the journal:
This is the closure flap opened by using the ribbon pull:
This is the cover of the book opened revealing the inside of the journal with the writing pad:
And this is the flap open to the writing pad:
Isn't it cute?!!! And, I did all the writing in the Jasmine cart using my cricut glitter pens!!! Although I've had them for a while, this is the first time I've used them!!! I must say, I think I'm going to now be addicted to them. The paper is from K&Company. I hand cut and made the journal, and the pad is from the Dollar Store. The embellishment on the closure flap is one of Tim Holtz's fragments which I backed with a decorative piece of the paper.
Well, I certainly hope you like it!!! Now I'm off to do some blog visiting and commenting. So many things to do, people to see, etc.!!!
I'll be seeing you!!!

What a great idea Audrey and a great journal!! I never thought to use Jasmine with gel pens ~ those letters are so delicate that I rarely cut them out unless they are 3" or larger. Of course, purple is my favorite color too!!
Love the project and what a great idea......
Audrey, that is just too cute, what a wonderful idea.
This is a great idea! I save my favorite sites to my computer but if it would crash, I would be lost. This is a great way to save them and it is so beautiful!

Audrey, this is soooo beautiful and perfect for us absent-minded crafters!!! lol XXXX
I LOVE this idea. All of my sites to remember are in my fav's on my computer, so if anything ever happens I don't know what I would do. I am definately going to try this idea out.
Thanks so much for sharing

~~That brain of yours is amazing~~ Do ya think I can borrow it for just a few hours? LOL
Cute reminder log.
what I do - is I create an excel spreadsheet of the links to the sites I like... also I follow the blogs and use my blogger dashboard and click on them every day and comment.
Wish more folks would do that!
You are one smart lady! I love your little journal, and I sure know what drove you to it! Thank you for sharing.
OMG, this is absolutely beautiful!!
Hi Audrey!
Glad to hear you're feeling better! I think your blog journal is a fabulous idea! In fact, if I think I'm going to attempt something like this because I'm ALWAYS losing track of the blogs/websites I enjoy!
Thanks for sharing your inspirations with us!!!
