I TOLD YOU!!! I FOREWARNED YOU!!!

Here I am... again!  I told you I'd be back with a project!  This one was quick and too simply easy!

Before I show you the project, I have to tell you I purchased this bookmark for around $2 at Hobby Lobby a while back and had no idea what I was going to do with it at the time, so I put it away.  Well, I was going through supplies trying to figure out what I was going to make a dear, sweet friend for her belated birthday and there's this bookmark!  (It looks gold from the light but it's actually silver):

Alright, doesn't it frustrate you when you see something you ran across just moments before but then can't find it.  I'd seen an old earring while digging through my supplies but discarded it as something I didn't want to use.  However, lo and behold when I ran across this bookmark and recalled the earring, an idea came to mind; then I couldn't find the earring!!!  So I had to dig through all that stuff all over again!!!  What a mess -- I really need organization!  Anyway, I finally found the earring -- at the very bottom of all that stuff, of course:

So..., what was my idea?  It was to glue the earring to the top of the bookmark!!!

To fill in the gaps around the edges, I filled them in Crystal Ice Stickles which matched perfectly!  I added the bookmark to a card I made quickly, and now doesn't that $2 bookmark  look really nice?:

I hope my friend likes it.  You can click on the picture to enlarge it but the card reads "If the pages of a book can be marked, so can there be a special place marked in our hearts for each other".  Awwwww...... how sweet!

Now..., SURPRISE!!!  I FOREWARNED YOU!!!  I'd told you earlier I had a small giveaway for you!  And it's time!!!  This is an "itty bitty" little giveaway for someone of a Unity Stamp:

Here's the back of the stamp package showing what the stamp actually looks like:

Guess now I'm not a rascal any longer, huh?  LOL!!!  It was fun though making you wait while it lasted!

All of you are eligible to win this stamp by just leaving me a comment on this post!  The chosen winner will be determined by Random.org., and the drawing and winner will be announced no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, August 8.  The winning number will coordinate with the order of your comment.  Good luck!

Thanks for stopping by, and...

I'll be seeing you!

P.S.  I have another giveaway soon! LOL!

Audrey,
this is exquisite! I am amazed with you talent and creativity. I love the little sentiment on the card. Did you do it on the computer, or was it a stamp. It is such a nice quote. I love the way the bookmark turned out and the added flourishes and stickles are perfect! This is another beauty my dear friend.
Hugs,
Charlotte
