A TRIPLE TWISTED EASEL CARD!!! AND THE "GIVEAWAY" WINNER!

Happy Monday, everyone!!!  I prayed I'd find you well, happy, and crafting, and I believe in my prayers!!!

Other than being uncomfortably hot, I'm feeling a bit better; although I did get up and made an appointment to see my doctor!  My appointment is Wednesday morning -- better safe than sorry!!!

If you haven't heard, we're having another day with a heat index in the 100's -- phew!!!  I'm sure it's probably hot where you are too but I certainly hope you're handling it better than I am.  I don't even feel like crafting and that's NOT good --  but I've been trying; I love my playtime!!!  Lol!!!

I've got a card to share that I saw at CHA Supershow.  I think I've seen this maybe once somewhere in our blogland neighborhood recently, but I'm sure; and, if so, I can't remember where or who did it.  Anyway, although done easel cards, and have seen a few double-twisted easel cards, I'd never seen a triple one before and I just knew I had to try one.  I pretty much figured it out by "aggressively" examining the one on display at the supershow at one of the booths!  I was trying to look conspicuous while trying to figure it out but I think they knew what I was doing!  LOL!!!  Anyway, it simple and, if this isn't the right fold, it looks right and works for me!!!  Here it is:

Isn't this too cool?!!!  If you want to know how I did it, I'd be glad to do a quick tutorial -- let me know!!!  It's really easy!

Okay, now I'll move forward to the winner of the giveaway!  Random.org. selected  #6:

This means.., CONGRATULATIONS,  Shari!!!   You've won the the stamp!!!  Please email me your address to audreyfrel@sbcglobal.net and I'll get it off to you in a jiffy!!!

Thank you all for participating and, in advance, I'll wish you luck on the next blog candy -- hint-hint!!!  YES, I have another little something coming up for you very, very soon!!!  It'll be within the next few days, but I want to be a rascal and not say just when right now, so check back in!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you like my card!!!

I'll be seeing you!

This card is great, I love the folds. Glad to hear you are feeling a little better today. It is so hot here that it is just miserable, I am hoping it will cool down soon.

This is gorgeous Audrey! A nice platform for a triple easel card - how clever is that! ;-) Yeah this heat is something I'm not fond of here on the east coast. I am glad you went to the doctor to get an assessment of what is ailing ya...not good to be on the down side...do take care of yourself, my dear!

That is a great card. How clever of you to figure it out! Glad you are doing better. It is hot here, too. Today it is supposed to hit 110 again (and that is before the heat index). Can't remember why I thought it would be a good idea to live in Kansas!

Oh what a neat card Audrey! I haven't seen these before so if you do post instructions you will have one friend who will be taking notes for sure! {hand raised} :)

If I do get down to Chicago we will have to meet for lunch! From what I hear there are some fabulous new places to eat, but then again Chicago is filled with good places to eat! This place I heard about was called A Goat and A Girl? Have you heard of such a place? If so you'll have to give me a little info on it! lol See, now I would bet if you had to live away from Chicago for one year you would miss it so much. I've only been away since 2003 and I never thought I would miss living there as much as I do. And now I hear they have a huge silver bean somewhere by Grant Park? Now that is cutting edge! :) But I don't miss the humidity in summer...ick. The thing I miss the most is the Art Museum. I really miss going there. And I miss the people dearly. As I was told by someone when I first moved here, " Us Minnesotans have open arms to welcome outsiders but closed hearts to accept them". It took me years to make friends here. That is one reason I think you're lucky, good Chicago people!
