WELCOME NEW FOLLOWERS AND HELLO FRIENDS!!!

Hi, there!!!  Had to drop in to say hello, and to welcome a brand new follower!!!  It is so wonderful to look up and see a new friend who wants to follow me even when I'm unable to do any crafting right now; that just makes me feel wonderful and is even more of an incentive to want to  hurry up and whip this hand in shape!!!

To all my new followers, thank you so much!!!  I welcome you with open arms and hope you make yourselves at home and stay awhile.  I love company and will try to keep you as entertained as I can.  Right now I'm working on getting better from a nasty hand infection, but as soon as it clears up and heals, I'll be back to crafting and sharing -- two of my most favorite things to do, so please just be a bit patient with me and don't run away!!!

I have to tell you all  though that with my phone ringing off the hook, family and friends dropping by to comfort and feed me, hubby being absolutely attentive, and having your comments and being able to visit and admire your projects has kept me from being bored.  Without family and friends and all of you, I probably would be ready to climb the walls!!!  I feel I'm going to not only end up spoiled but fat too!!!  LOL!  I told another friend I wonder what happened to bringing a person flowers when they were not feeling well!!!  I love flowers but I'm really loving all the goody gifts waaaaayyyyy too much!!!  I think Buster is really jealous because I'm now getting all the attention he's accustomed to getting; although I've given him some "special" loving and attention-- he's such a cutie!!!   I bet he's not missing my crafting at all!!!  LOL!!!

Also, I may be operating with only one hand right now, but at least I'm able to do this.  Believe me, I am not putting any stress on the healing hand or myself.  When these meds tell my body to rest, I disappear!!!!  LOL!  I may not like it but it doesn't give me a choice.  Typing with one hand is slow and laborous, but it keeps me busy between calls and visits, and this is something I love.  Helps too to take my mind off some of the throbbing and pain-- makes it easier to deal wih.  All I'm missing right now is being able to craft and that's coming.  I'd rather do this than to sit around complaining and feeling sorry for myself -- and I don't/won't!  To me, I'm still able to do a part of what I enjoy so much, so I'm happy with this until I can do better.  Which, hopefully, is jusy days away now.

So, what appears to be stubbornness in taking care of myself  is really my way of coping while enjoying the pleasures that I can at the moment.  In a sense, I am doing something for me to help me get better -- I'm not letting this overpower me and make me miserable.  I'd much rather be as comfortable in this situation as I can and happy than being as miserable as I can -- does that make sense?  anyway, I'll be poking in and out checking on all of you too.  Okay, okay, I'll admit it, I'm hooked too!

Thank you so much for all your kind words and warm comments.  You just don't realize how much your attentiveness has helped, and I'm so gratefeful!

Now don't forget, this blog is still busy; the fairies are waiting for your craft entries and I'll be sneaking in a little blog game at some unannouced time very soon.  So, my hand "ain't" stopping no show -- heeee-heeee!

I'll be seeing you!

Hi Audrey,
I am so sorry about your hand. Please take care of it. It is hard not to do everything you have always done, I know. But think about the days ahead and the rest that you deserve. I had Cellulitis a while back and it just takes time and rest to get over it. Everyone needs a little spoiling once in a while. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
