I'VE GOT AN AWARD AND I'M GIVING AWARDS!

Hello, all -- happy Wednesday!!!

Sorry, I've no project for today; I had some other "personal" things which took priority -- but several  "non-personal" priorities too:  to prepare the  DT project I'll be presenting to you tomorrow over at Sheila's (which I'd almost forgotten), so I'll have that finished up some time today; and, still trying to catch up on some visiting.  I don't think I've gotten around to everyone but it's not for lack of trying.

However, I do have something to share.  As I mentioned on my earlier post, I received an award from two (2) wonderful and special friends:  Sandy and Lori M.  Ladies, thank you so much for this beautiful award:

WOW! MORE BLOG AWARDS!!!

Good Friday, all!!!  I hope you're all prepared for a wonderful crafting weekend as always!

Yesterday, I had such a great day with my aunt.  After running our errands, my dear hubby joined us for a trip to the museum and after that we went to a new Louisianna-style restuarant for dinner -- the food was too die for -- soooo delicious.  I had a different style of jambalaya; here they stuff the jambalaya between a breaded chicken breast.  When you cut into it, the jambalaya just oozes out!  It was awesome!  The weather was great too, about 60 degrees and sunny, what a wonderful day!!!  Surprisingly, my aunt didn't tire as I'd thought she would after an all-day excursion.

I wanted to share a few awards I've received over the last week or so, and give back some love:

This award is from a very sweet blogger and my friend Elizabeth.  Thank you so much Elizabeth, I am so honored you passed this award on to me.  However, as I've received it numerous times, I will allow anyone that wants it place it on their blogs from me instead of passing it on again, and I'll add your name to it on my sidebar to show my appreciation.

This next award was presented to me by  Bobby and Jill.  I have to admit I actually cried when I read how this award came to be presented to me.  Thank you Bobby and Jill!!!  I love visiting your blog and I always leave so awed and inspired by your talents.

As this award is new to me, to accept it I must pass it on to another person.  This was not an easy decision because I love you all, I'm inspired by you all, and I don't consider you just best friends but my blogging family.  So to keep from having to just select one from the many of you,  I considered that I was a protege' and the roots to even beginning this blog stemmed from the inspirations and support of someone who didn't just guide me but who also was a teacher to me, I'd pass this award on to her.  Jen.  Jen, thank you so much for all you've done for me!  Without your help and always being there for me to call upon (I was such a nuisance), this year would never have happened!

While I'm here I'd like to mention that several of you have received your resin pendants, and Beebeebabs has received her "candy".  I am so very happy to hear you're all so pleased with your gifts!  Thank you for being my friends, and it was such a pleasure to please you!

I have had a somewhat busy weekend so far but have managed to get in a lot of visiting!  I have been to many places and have been so very inspired with projects I've seen I'd like to copy/"lift" and share with you.  In order to do that, being I still don't remember to write down places I go to, I have to try to remember and then complete the projects from my memory -- those that I can remember!!!  LOL!  I've, at least, tried to recall and maintain most of them in these ole memory banks of mine, writing down descriptives to use as triggers!  If I forget I don't know where to go back to find them!!!  Bad enough I end up having to do them my way which isn't quite as nice as the creator's version!!!  LOL!  I really must keep a list of places I go and get inspired!

Hello, everyone!!!  Hope all's well!

So, I finally got back from seeing my doctor; fortunately, I don't have pneumonia but I do have a stomach flu.  Unfortunately, she couldn't prescribe any medication because they are none to cure stomach viruses -- so I'll have to suffer through this on my own!!!  A real bummer is that she told me I should lay off the coffee because caffeine doesn't help: boo-hoo, I'm going to miss my coffee!!!

I'm sorry to say, by the time I left my doctor, I wouldn't have made it to the Post Office in time before they closed.  I will, however, ask my DH if he'll take all the givesaways for those expecting them for me on Tuesday (I think Monday is a holiday).

I GOT IT AGAIN!!!

Happy Sunday, all!!!  I hope you're all doing well and having fun!

Good news!  I'm praying --  it might have just been the medications that had my aunt so confused because the last several days have been such good days -- no strange behaviors!  She's just been her feisty but sweet self.  Thank God!!!  Anyway, we'll see how the next days fair.

AN AWARD FROM A DEAR FRIEND...!!!

Happy Saturday, everyone!  Hope all's well and that you're enjoying your weekend, so far!

Well, I've had an opportunity to do plenty of visiting today!  I think I've probably visited with close to 200 friends in blogland!  It felt great to drop in on some that I hadn't had a chance to visit in quite a while!

This award is titled the "Queen of Patience" Award; isn't it beautiful!!!  It was presented to me due my reaction to my recent Cricut E and Gypsy predicament.  Actually, I'm really surprising myself!!!  I can't believe I don't have the use of my machines and I'm not pulling my hair out!  LOL!!!  Like I said though, I don't think I'm surprised!  I can't recall ever having an error-free update with my machines -- I think it's only taught me to just "hurry-up" and wait!  LOL!

UPDATE: I'VE GOT A FUN BLOG AWARD!!!

Hello and happy Saturday!  I just happened to get home a short while ago, ran into my craftroom to check out my email  and see what was going on with all of you before having to run out again, and what a wonderful surprise I had waiting for me from my wonderful and sweet friend Sandy.  I'm not even going to introduce her because if you don't already know her, shame on you!  Sandy, thank you so much for this award.

UPDATE:  I've also just received this award from Christina.  Christina is another wonderful crafter and I love visiting her -- you will too!

This is just the most fun award!!!  What I have to do is tell six (6) truths about myself -- or vice versa!!!  Ya think I can confuse you guys as to what is true or false about me?!!!  We'll see!  However, on the other hand, I must also pass this award on to five other bloggers which is so hard for me because I love you all.  But..., what I will do is pass is it on to 4 and reserve #5 for the rest of you that would like to have it; please grab it and feel free to say it's from me if you post it to your blog(s).  Okay?

Okay, six (6) truths (or vice-versa ) about myself: 

1. 
   
   I love being retired so that I can give more time to friends, family, Buster, crafting, blogging, and everything else I love to do; but I miss so many friends I worked with daily for so many years
2. 
   
   My craftroom is so terribly disorderly, I am totally embarrassed when any one gets a glimpse of it
3. 
   
   I only learned to drive 2 years ago, but to let me tell it, I'm the only person on the streets driving that truly knows how to drive!
4. 
   
   I weigh 192 pounds because I eat the whole time I craft, which is at least 70% of each day
5. 
   
   I'm not a saint, but I believe and trust in God
6. 
   
   I hate sleeping!

Okay, guys, do you know what's true or "vice-versa" -- LOL!!!  Are they all true?  Or, are they all "vice-versa"!  I love fun things!!! (Oh-oh, is that statement true or "vice-versa").  I won't tell!

Now for the really difficult part -- passing this on to five other wonderful bloggers.  Okay, here goes:

I'VE GOT A WONDERFUL NEW "CLASSIC" YOU'RE GOING PLACES BABY BLOG AWARD!!!

Well, here am I again, friends and family!!!  Wow!  It's been an amazing day!!!

First, I'd like to take a moment to welcome my new following friends.  Welcome to Cute and Some!!!  I am so happy to have you and I hope you just get comfortable and prepare to hang out for a long while!  I love company!!!  And, if I haven't visited you already to say thanks, it's because I couldn't find you; so, if you have blogs let me know so I can drop in on you too from time to time.

Now, respecting my blog award.  My dear-sweet friend Sandy has presented me this wonderful new award for my blog!!!  Sandy is such a sweet-heart and you need to visit and get to know her (if you haven't already) to know that what I'm saying is so, so true.
