"TAKE NOTE" Notepad Set with Calendar

Good Sunday, my friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day!

I must say I had an interesting day yesterday.  I hate to admit it but I was more tired and frustrated than I wanted to own up to and I ended up suffering the consequences.  Today, however, is a brand new day and, although I'm off to a late start, I feel great.

The project Iwanted to post for you (finally!) is one that I made for the wall in my kitchen next to the telephone.  I love the colors and they really do blend in well in my kitchen, but I think I could have used a more subtle color paper for the words "Take Note".  I may have went overboard with the paper there.  Overall, I like how it came out and  I will use it to jot grocery items I may need, telephone numbers, notes, etc.  And, if I need to remember a certain event date, I added a little calendar for myself.  You can too!

How I constructed it:

The carts I used are George (pad/pen holders), Storybook (embellishment), and Plantin (words, "Take Note").  I used chipboard to cut the back and embellishment because they need to be sturdy.  I glued across the top of the notepad itself with a hot glue gun to hold the pages together on the notepad and calendar.  I used velcro on the calendar so it can be replaced yearly, and the notepad can be removed from under the flap so that it can be easily used and/or replaced.

Of course, I'll be hanging it; but, you can also attach a magnet and use on the fridge or let it stand -- your choice!

Here's a picture with the notepad removed:

I hope you like it!

I'll be seeing you!

Nice one! The one I made I use it a lot too, I even took it to the grocery store once. They come in handy. I do like the idea of yours to keep it right there by the fridge. TFS!
