"COUPONS, RECEIPTS, AND SUCH" GIFT SET

Good day, again, my friends!  Hope all's well!

I am still in awe of all the fabulous creations designed by our contributors for Showcase #5!  Weren't all the projects amazing?!!!  I hope you visited or plan to visit the others, Helen and Sheila, because their projects were just awesome too!

Now, I have a little project to share with you.  This is an accordion file  to hold coupons, receipts, cancelled checks (do people still get those?- LOL!), etc.  There is a detachable calendar attached, so if you need to pop this file  in your purse, you can just remove the calendar because it's attached with magnets (one on the back of the calendar and one on the inside of the file box); now you're calendar won't get dirty or torn when you carry it!  Bring it home and pop the calendar back on!!!  To complete the gift set I've made a matching "Thank You" card:

This next picture shows a view of the file opened and the calendar detached; and the inset picture on the bottom is the magnet on the back of the calendar:

I added Black Diamond color stickles to the inside rows of triangles on the paper, but it's really difficult to see the black on black; however, the subtle bling in person looks fantastic and adds just the right amount of glitz!!!  I also lightly brushed on some of the stickles to take away some of the starkness of the white paper.  You might be able to see it better if you click on it for a closer view.

Well, what do you think?  Please leave me your comments letting me know!!!

Okay, now don't forget to get your projects ready for Showcase #6.  The fairies and I are just loving all that you're doing!!!

So, that's it for right now; however, once I get back from therapy, I'll be visiting and blog-hopping -- yeaaa!!!  Which means, of course...

I'll be seeing you!

Thank you all!!! I have gotten quite a few requests on the mb as to how I did this; therefore, I'll have a tutorial for you guys soon. It is very simple and easy to put together, but it'll probably take me a week or so to get a tutorial together because I have several other commitments right now. But as soon as I can. Okay?

Thank you all for all your wonderful comments! You are are so sweet!

MinAriel, I don't need a cart at all, and it only takes minutes to put together after you determine the size you want.

Hi, guys!

Wow, it's a surprise to me, however, there's already a tutorial available for an accordion card purse which is basically my coupon/receipt book. I've posted a direct link, if you want to visit there for the tutorial. I haven't seen the tutorial on this blog so I'm assuming it's just as simple to put together as mine was. Let me know if it works for you!!!
